Dr RS Gupta, Deputy Director General, CST, National AIDS Control Organization

Dr. R S Gupta did his graduation (1974-1980) and post graduation (1981-1984) in Public Health from J.L.N. Medical College, Ajmer, Rajasthan. During first posting served as Senior Demonstrator from 1982 to 1989 in the same medical college where he did post graduation. He has served and holds the various posts of Assistant, Deputy and Joint Director in National Centre for Disease Center, formally known as National Institute of Communicable Diseases w.e.f. 1989 to 1993 at NCDC, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu and from 1993 to 2011 at NCDC Alwar, Rajasthan. He has been promoted to the post of Additional Director in the year 2008 and posted at NCDC, Alwar, Rajasthan, in August 2011 transfer to Delhi and serves as DDG, Basic Services Division, NACO up to April, 2013. From 1st May 2013 onwards transferred to Central TB Division, Director General of Health services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and Served as DDG(TB) up to March 2015 . From 12th March, 2015 onward serving as DDG, Basic Services Division, Blood Transfusion Services & STI. During his tenure of post graduation & service published 30 papers in various National and International Journals.
